Climbing Limestone, Mont Blanc region

Limestone climbing around the Mont Blanc region

A five day course, €2280. Fee is for one person alone or shared between two.

Beautiful climbing! beautiful views! And often the opportunity to see some wildlife.

In the pre-alps surrounding Mont Blanc, there are some very good quality limestone cliffs, such as:
Col de la Colombiere, Le Sapey, Les Aravis, Gramusset, Les Grandes Suites and Ablon all in France. In Switzerland, Leysin is well worth a visit. The rock is of equal quality to cliffs in the South of France, with here the advantage that you can climb in mid summer, the temperatures don’t get as high as in the south!

Level: This course is open to the total beginner. If you have some climbing experience all the better.
A five day course. Guiding Fee: Euros 2280. Guide/client, ratio max 1/2. This fee is for one person alone or shared between two.
Dates: Can be run any time from May-June until September-October

In all courses, the stated guided fee covers the guiding services of the I F M G A certified mountain guide only. The following is not included:

  • Accommodation – I am happy to suggest accommodation.
