MONT BLANC LIMESTONE
A 5 day course, May – October.
Dates: 2-6 August 2010.
In the pre alps surrounding Mt Blanc there is some very good quality limestone cliffs, such as:
Col de la Colombiere, Le Sapey, Les Aravis, Gramusset, Les Grandes Suites and Ablon all in France. In Switzerland, Leysin is well worth a visit. The rock is of equal quality to cliffs in the South of France, with here the advantage that you can climb in mid summer, the temperatures don’t get as high as in the south!
Beautiful climbing! beautiful views! and often the opportunity to see some wildlife. The aim of the course is to climb every day at one of the above venues.
This course is open to total beginner. If you have some climbing experience all the better.
